Immunoblotting

Immunoblotting

A process of using antibodies to identify target proteins among unrelated protein species which combines the resolution of proteins by gel electrophoresis to the specificity of immunochemical detection. The NiiN uses a “High-Throughput Bioanalyzer” capable of processing up to 384 samples at a time for a cost effective and fast fragment analysis and library QC.The Technique is a proven alternative to Slab Gels and fits into the current genomic era where massive information from genomic and proteomic research needs a more effective way to generate and analyze data. It is less time consuming, lesser variability and much energy saving than agarose slab gel and SDS-PAGE. Quantitative sizing and concentration data of RNA,DNA and proteins are automatically reported as each sample is analysed with generation of direct Digital Data, this eliminates the need for photo-documentation.
