The Nigeria Immunology and Infection Network (NiiN) aims to:
- Foster the development of molecular diagnostics and vaccines with commitment to translating research findings into clinical and commercial applications, in partnership with clinics and industry.
- Create a mentorship channel with established immunologist and vaccinologist for young and budding immunologists
- Promote the implementation of innovative ideas and strategies through planned conferences, workshops,symposia and seminars
- Advance human immunology research in Nigeria and its translation into practical outcomes for human and animal health.
- Promote scientific excellence in the area of Infection and Immunology research
- Connect Vaccine, Emerging Infection and Immunology researchers, students, health care and industry within Nigeria
- Increase availability, awareness and accessibility of funding and resources to the Nigerian immunology and Infection community.
