CALL FOR ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION FOR THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BIOTECHNOLOGY 2024 ICoB24.

Advancements and Applications

The International Conference on Biotechnology (ICoB) 2024 is a global event that aims to serve as a premier platform for exchanging knowledge, exploring emerging trends, and fostering partnerships among researchers, professionals, industry experts, and policymakers. The theme for the conference is “Biotechnology as an engine for economic growth” with focus on Food Security, Energy, Health, and Industry. We cordially invite you to submit abstracts of ongoing research that have results with economic prospects that is centered or related to biotechnology for presentation at this conference. Authors of the accepted abstracts will be required to submit an extended abstract of not more than 3 pages which will be published in the conference proceedings.

Conference Sub-themes

  • Agricultural Biotechnology: crop improvement, genetic engineering, Seed technology, stewardship and economic impact assessment, precision agriculture, and sustainable farming practices, economic impact.
  • Medical Biotechnology: Therapeutic advancements, personalized medicine, gene therapy, and biomedical devices.
  • Industrial Biotechnology: Bioprocessing, biofuels, bioremediation, and industrial enzyme applications.
  • Environmental Biotechnology: Waste management and biodiversity conservation
  • Bioinformatics and Computational Biology: Data analysis, genomics, proteomics, and systems biology.
  • Biopharmaceuticals and Biologics: Vaccine development, biopharmaceutical production, and biosimilars.
  • Synthetic Biology and Genetic Engineering: DNA synthesis, gene editing tools, and synthetic organisms.
  • Bioethics, Biotechnology and Biosafety Policy: Ethical implications, regulations, and governance in biotechnological research, SEA

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts should be submitted electronically via the conference website with an Abstract processing fee of N3, 000.
  • Abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 300 words.
  • Abstract should be presented in block format.
  • Please indicate the conference sub-theme that best fits your abstract at the left top corner of the page.
  • Include a maximum of five keywords relevant to your abstract.
  • Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance on a rolling basis.
  • Extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings at the rate of N10, 000.

Publication Opportunities
